Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Put the fruit into a lightly greased dish.
  3. Put the flour into mixing bowl and rub in the margarine until like bread. Add sugar.
  4. Pour mixture evenly over the rhubarb and bake in oven for 30-40 mins or until fruit is tender and the top is lightly browned.

Other variations could include using plums, blackberries, apples, apricots or gooseberries.
