Vegan Recipes : Baked Bananas

Method

  1. Set oven to 180C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Grease a 2 pint (1 litre) ovenproof dish.
  3. Chop the bananas into chunky pieces and put into the dish with the dates, orange juice and rind. Mix.
  4. Sprinkle almonds on top, cover with foil and bake for 20 mins until the bananas are soft and cooked.
  5. Serve immediately with warm golden syrup or chocolate sauce.

Note: Not suitable for freezing.
